Pentas are the perfect plant for the butterfly garden and require minimal care. Pruning will result in a full bushy plant with tons of bloom heads . Cut back hard in the spring and you will have a new vigorous plant. Use a time release fertilizer and give at least 1/2 day sun. More sun =more blooms! This is a superior butterfly nectar plant for our area.

For best results trim dead heads monthly, grow in full sun , and use a time release fertilizer.
