Heliconia Huber sharonii is a gorgeous showy specimen for any part -shade garden. The infloresence grows out of each thick green stalk under wide leaves. The leaves are green on top and maroon underneath. It will most likely die back a bit in the winter unless it is protected from heavy winds and bitter cold. Only cut stalks that have provided blooms.
